Three Quick Dishes To Serve To Unexpected Guests
Entertaining guests is easy if you have time to prepare. But everyone should have a few ideas for quick and easy meals to prepare at the drop of a hat for those awkward times when someone drops around unexpectedly. Here are three dishes that even a beginner can knock together quickly.
1: Slow cooked beef and onion stew.
Simply prepare the stew the day before your guests unexpectedly arrive. Then it’s just a matter of seconds to serve.
2: Tin can surprise.
Grab three tin cans from your pantry shelf. Remove the labels and let your guests choose one each. Whatever’s inside is their dinner.
3: Green eggs and ham.
Everyone remembers reading about this classic dish from their childhood, but nobody has ever eaten it. Slice some ham, fry some eggs, spray paint the eggs green, call an ambulance, and serve with fresh bread. Simple AND delicious.

I like the three cans idea. The feckers deserve it.
So when are you arriving unexpected at our house?
Hahaha I like the Green eggs and the added ingredient of calling an ambulance before serving. You’re a bigger man than I. I normally just suggest take out where they then pay for themselves π
He’s a gas one π
π that’s brilliant! Surprise visitors who expect to be fed should be escorted from the premises.
Unless they bring cheese.
Mmmm. Nothing like green spray paint to get rid of hunger!
No, seriously. It will totally get rid of hunger. They’ll be too sick to eat for days. It’s the perfect meal.
