The Perfect Hummus
Vegan, dairy free, gluten free, hummus should be virtuous and yet it’s fun and sinful and I could eat it with a straw.
1 tin of 400 g of chick peas; 2 large garlic cloves; 2 tablespoons of light tahini; juice of 2 lemons; 8 table spoons of water; 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds; salt and pepper to taste.
Throw all the ingredients in the food processor and blitz blitz blitz. Garnish with some chili or paprika powder and a touch of olive oil. Serve with raw veggie sticks or some pita bread. Or a straw.
