Thai Beef Salad
Quick easy and very very zingy!
Ingredients:
1 fillet of beef, soya beans, cucumber, 1 shallot, sweet chilli sauce, tomatoes, fish sauce, soy sayce, toasted sesame seed oil.
Method:
Rinse the soya beans and press them in kitchen paper to remove excess moisture. Slice the cucumber finely (I remove the middle for this salad) and add cut tomatoes. In a bowl, mix your sweet chili sauce with a bit of soy sauce, fish saice and sesame seed oil. Slice a shallot through the sauce. Plate your salad and add some dressing. Fire up your frying pan and cook your beef to taste. For me, it’s bleu, so just seared. Let it rest for a couple of minutes and then slice and it to the salad. Pour the rest of the sauce on top.
