No Churn Mango and Banana Ice Cream
The long days are back and the temperature is slowly rising. My taste buds have shed their winter coat and are asking for fresh and vibrant flavours. They’re also asking for ice cream. Since I was diagnosed with high blood pressure I have been very conscious of all the added salt and sugar in shop bought food. With that in mind, I still want to eat well but mind my health. You can make this ice cream with 2 ingredients. It’s dairy free and has no added sugar. You will honestly not get a tastier ice cream in the shops.
Equal parts ripe bananas and ripe mango. The riper the fruit the tastier the ice cream!
Chop the bananas and put them in the freezer for 4 hours. Thaw them for 30 min and blend them with the mango. Place the mixture back in the freezer for at least 2 hours and it’s ready to serve.
This will be delicious served with passion fruit for that extra zing!
