Ham And Cheese Roulade Slices
Three ingredients and 20 mins that’s all you’ll need for these gorgeous bites of decadent pastry. They’re warm, comforting, flaky, savoury and just plain delicious. You can do what I did and make a few in advance for a luxurious weekend breakfast. Simply freeze the parcels once they’re rolled and cut. You can just bake them from frozen. You can arrange the flavours to suit your taste. Simply replace with feta and spinach for a nice vegetarian twist.
Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry, 4 slices of baked ham, mild cheddar. You will get at least 12 slices of roulade from a full sheet.
Method:
Spread your sheet of pastry on a baking tray and cover it with ham and then fine slices of cheese (or grated cheese if you prefer). Roll it up tightly and cut in to 1.5 cm slices. Cook in a pre-heated 170 C – gas mark 5 oven for 20 min or until golden brown.
