Elaine’s Garlic Tear’ n Share bread

Elaine (@hootiemcboobs) posted a picture of her homemade bread on Twitter today and I asked her for the recipe to share with you guys. So here it is!


210 g flour, 160 ml lukewarm water, 1 tsp dried yeast, 1 tsp salt, 25 g butter, 1 tsp olive oil, bit chopped parsley, chopped garlic(whatever amount you like)


Pre-heat the oven to 170 C.

Pour water on yeast in a bowl and leave for 10 mins. Put flour and salt into bowl, make a well, add 1 tbs olive oil and water/yeast. Knead for about 10 mins, then cover and leave til doubled in size.

Melt butter and add parsley and garlic, mix well.

Knock back dough, break into small pieces and roll into balls, coat balls in butter mix and place together in baking dish.

Cover and let prove again for about half an hour, then bake for about 25 mins at 170.
